Stop 1 -

You will be taken
across the Nile to the
West Bank to
meet your camel safari
then be assisted on to
your camel to enjoy a
leisurely ride up the
sand desert mountains in
Aswan until reaching the
Monastery of St Simeon.
Preserved since from the
6th century, it is one
of the largest Coptic
Monasteries in the
world. Due to water
shortages, it was
abandoned and left
untouched for many
years.

From the top of the
Monastery, you can gaze
down at the views from
the top of the hill over
to Aswan City, the
desert, and appreciate
the wonders of nature
and life in Aswan.

at at traditional Nubian
Restaurant for time to
enoy the local food and

Stop 2 -

After lunch, you will be
treated to a delightful
sailing in a traditional
‘Felucca’ boat to
explore Lord Kitchener’s
Botanical garden island.
the Island was named
after Lord kitchener,
the British General from
world War one for his
contribution to Egypt.

Next, on to a local Nubian
Village where
you can see real life of
how the local Nubian
people live and work,
Here you will enjoy a
free walk around one of
the Nubian Houses which
often hosts a small
enclosure of baby
crocodiles which you can
actually hold and have
photographs with! See
the lovely bright
colours which decorate
their homes and the
simple yet humble
lifestyles they live.

The last visit of the
day will be a visit to
the very informative and
fascinating Nubian
Museum to
discover the culture and
traditions of the
Nubians with many
fascinating artifacts
and stories about their
life and history.
