  •     Itinerary:

  •     Day 1: Cairo to El Alamein 

  •  After breakfast at your accommodation in Cairo, you will be picked up and transferred by road on a comfortable air conditioned vehicle to travel to El Alamein (between 3-4 hours drive) with a rest stop along the way. On arrival at El Alamein, you will be escorted with an expert Tour Guide around the battle sites, Museums and Cemeteries which was the focus of the 2nd World War in Egypt.

  •   The Cemeteries hold graves and are tributes of the fallen within their own countries from England, Germany, Canada, Italy and a Commonwealth Cemetery of soldiers and airmen from Greece, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, India and Canada. The Museum hosts a large collection of memorabilia from the Civil War and other North African battles.

  •     A visit to the Battle sites which held two battles,1 – 27 July 1942 and 23 October – 4 November 1942.

  •   Lunch is provided throughout the day then you will transfer to Alexandria (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes) to your Hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

  •     Meals: Lunch 

  •     Day 2: Alexandria Tours - Back to Cairo 

  •  After an early breakfast at your Hotel, you will be collected by your Tour Guide to start your visits to the intriguing sites of Alexandria. One of the stops will be at

  • the Citadel of Qaitbay,built in the 1480's by Sultan Qaitbay on the site of Alexandria's ancient lighthouse and one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. Another unmissable stop on your tour is the famous and modern architecture  known as the ‘Bibliotheca’ the huge Library of Alexandria which hosts millions of books and is the scholarly focal point in all of Egypt.The Catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa ( known as the largest Roman burial site in Egypt) is another fascinating stop along with the tower known as ‘Pompey’s Pillar’,a Roman triumphal column, the largest of its type constructed outside of the imperial capitals of Rome and Constantinople.

  •     Lunch is included before you transfer back to your air conditioned vehicle to Cairo (approximately 3 hours).

  •     Reservations should be made as early as possible to secure your places on required tour and we accept booking 1 day prior to tour starting .Your booking will be secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit Once completed, our Representative will take the balance of payment when you are collected for your tour.(cash or credit and debit cards accepted).

  •      Transport for all tours included: domestic flights, trains, and air conditioned vehicles by road. Wi-Fi, Bottled water and ice box all included whilst travelling by road. All are new vehicles of the latest design and technology.
