  • 8 DAYS - LUXOR / ASWAN EVERY SATURDAY

  • Saturday - Arrival - Luxor West Bank Tours

  • You will be met and assisted at Luxor Airport by our Holidays at Egypt  Representative then transferred by air conditioned vehicle to your El HanemDahabiya Cruise Boat. After check in, lunch will be served then your Expert English speaking Tour Guide will escort you to the West Bank for your exploration to the burial places of the Pharaohs which includes the  the Valley of the Kings where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Then on to the Valley of the Queens, the Temple of MedinetHabu and the two huge Colossi of Memnonstatues.

  • return back to your Dahabiya for overnight in Luxor.

  • Sunday - Luxor East Bank Tours

  • Today after breakfast on board, you will accompany your Tour Guide on a visit to the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28 th Dynasty Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun.Evening to relax in Luxor or take one of the Optional Tours such as the ‘Sound and light Show’ at Karnak Temple, or a City Tour of Luxor and market in a local ‘Kalesh’ (Horse and Carriage).

  • Monday - Sailing - Free Day

  • Today is a  leisurely day sailing along the Nile with breakfast  sailing to Esna where the large lock is situated and all of the Nile traffic has to pass through, Be entertained by the local boatmen frantically rowing there small boats alongside the large Nile Cruise vessels and hurling their wares up to the passing tourists to make a quick sale! Mooring overnight in Esna.

  • Tuesday - Edfu Temple Tour

  • This morning you will sail to Edfu and be escorted with your Tour guide to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu, the Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus the Falcon-Headed God. Overnight moored beside a Nile Island.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Wednesday - KomOmbo Temple Tour

  • A visit today to see the unique well preserved Temple of Sobek at KomOmbo, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile God worshipped by Pharaohs of ancient times. A leisurely day sailing to Aswan and moored nearby Aswan’s spectacular Bridge, the Gateway to  Aswan.Time to explore if you feel like walking through the lovely Souk in Aswan with it’saroma’s of incense and spices.Overnight moored beside a Nile island.

  •      Thursday - Free Day sailing to Aswan

  • Today is a calm and peaceful day sailing along the tranquil Nile enjoying the unspoilt views over centuries unchanged. On to Aswan under the large Aswan Bridge often referred to as the ‘Gateway to Nubia’ Overnight mooring in Aswan.

  • Friday - Aswan Tours

  • Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for Egypt. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced  the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has known.You will also visitPhilae Temple,a Nubian temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. Rest of the day and evening to relax or explore colourful and friendly Aswan. Overnight on board.

  • Saturday - Arrival Aswan -Embarkation

  • Upon arrival in Aswan you will be met and assisted by Holidays at Egypt  Representative and transferred to the El HanemDahabiya cruise. Embarkation in Aswan for a relaxing week sailing the Nile on a Luxuriously appointed Dahabiya.Overnight, the ship moors on the Nile Banks of Aswan

  • Sunday - Aswan Cruise Tours

  • Today after breakfast,you will  visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971); the Old Dam (completed in 1902) to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for Egypt. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced  the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has known. You will also visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. Overnight moored in Aswan.

  • Monday - KomOmbo Temple Tour

  • After breakfast, you will sail  to KomOmbo to see the Ptolemaic Temple (KomOmbo Temple) dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the morning sun. It is the only Temples in Egypt dedicated to two Gods. Overnight moored beside a Nile island.

  • Tuesday - Edfu Temple Tour

  • This morning you will sail to Edfu to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu (known for it’s Falcon Headed God Horus which has a large statue flanking the entrance to the Temple. Considered one of the best preserved Temples in Egypt.  Overnight moored beside an island.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Wednesday - Free Day Sailing to Luxor

  • Today, a leisurely sailing along the Nile after breakfast to the Lock at Esna.Be entertained by the local boatmen frantically rowing there small boats alongside the large Nile Cruise vessels and hurling their wares up to the passing tourists to make a quick sale! Then onwards to Luxor with mooring overnight in Luxor.
