  • Saturday

  • Upon arrival Luxor you will be met and assisted by our Holidays at Egypt  Representative and transferred to the SonestaAmiratDahabeya cruise. You will be welcomed on embarkation by your personal Cruise Crew in Luxor for a relaxing week sailing the Nile on a Luxuriously appointed Dahabeya. After Lunch on board, a tour to the magnificent Temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns. Then on to the imposing 28th Dynasty of Luxor Temple. Overnight moored on the Nile Banks of Luxor.

  • An evening to relax either on the boat, or take an optional tour of the Karnak Sound And Light Show or a walk around Luxor’s traditional City and Market. Overnight in Luxor.

  • Meals:  Lunch, dinner

  • Sunday

  • Today after breakfast on board, you will visit the West Bank with your experienced English speaking Tour Guide for visits to the burial places of the Pharaohs Valley of the Kings  where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Continue to the adjacent Valley of the Queens ( the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh), then on to theTemple of MedinetHabu and the giant Colossi of Memnon. Sailing on to Esna (noon time). then docking overnight near to Esna.

  • Today will be a leisurely day. After Breakfast you commence sailing taking in the breathtaking taking and tranquil views of the Nile and daily life unchanged for centuries. Overnight moored beside a Nile Island.

  • This morning you will sail to Edfu and be escorted with your Tour guide to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu, the Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus the Falcon-Headed God. Overnight moored beside a Nile Island.

  • Wednesday

  • Enjoy your daily breakfast whilst sailing on to KomOmbo. A day relaxing and taking in the views and wildlife along the river. Overnight moored beside a Nile Island

  • Thursday

  • A visit today to see the unique well preserved Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile God worshipped by Pharaohs of ancient times. A leisurely day sailing to Aswanand moored nearby Aswan’s spectacular Bridge, the Gateway to  Aswan.Time to explore if you feel like walking through the lovely Souk in Aswan with it’saroma’s of incense and spices. Overnight in Aswan.

  • Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for Egypt. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced  the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has known.You will also visit  Philae Temple, a Nubian temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. Rest of the day and evening to relax or explore colourful and friendly Aswan. Overnight on board.

  • Breakfast aboard the Dahabeya then disembarkation with free time at leisure in Aswanbefore your transfer to Aswan Airport for Departure.

  • Upon arrival in Aswan you will be met and assisted by Holidays at Egypt Representative and transferred to the SonestaAmiratDahabeya cruise. Embarkation in Aswan for a relaxing week sailing the Nile on a Luxuriously appointed Dahabeya.Overnight, the ship moors on the Nile Banks of Aswan

  • Today after breakfast,you will  visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971); the Old Dam (completed in 1902) to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for Egypt. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced  the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has known. You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. Begin your luxury sail to KomOmbo (noon time). Overnight near  KomOmbo.

  • After breakfast, a visit to KomOmbo to see the Ptolemaic Temple (KomOmbo Temple) dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the morning sun. It is the only Temples in Egypt dedicated to two Gods. Overnight moored beside a Nile island.

  •      Tuesday

  • This morning you will sail to Edfu to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu (known for it’s Falcon Headed God Horus which has a large statue flanking the entrance to the Temple. Considered one of the best preserved Temples in Egypt.  Overnight moored beside an island.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Wednesday

  • Today will be a leisurely day; After Breakfast, commence sailing to Esna, and passing the lock and watching the locals trade their wares to the passing tourists on the boats, then your Dahabeya will moor beside a Nile Island for an overnight stay .

  • Thursday

  • This morning you will sail to Luxor (once the ancient capital of Egypt known as Thebes) to visit the magnificent  Karnak Temple complex of Amon-Ra, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns,  followed by the imposing 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple. The two Temples were once linked by the Avenue of Sphinx which is currently near completion after reconstruction. Overnight moored in Luxor.

  • Friday

  • Today after breakfast, you will be escorted to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the great burial places of the Pharaohs,  ‘The Valley of the Kings’ where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922.   • Payment - Early Reservations advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces..Booking secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment.

  • Transportation - Transport for all tours included: domestic flights, trains, and air conditioned vehicles by road.Wi-Fi, Bottled water and ice box all included whilst travelling by road. All are new vehicles of the latest design and technology.

  • Food and drinks - Nile Cruise Boats offer lunch on arrival and breakfast on your departure. On board, all meals are included along with certain drinks. Alcoholic drinks served at the bar and restaurants are at an additional cost
