  • Welcome to Egypt. You will be met and assisted at Luxor International Airport by a Holidays at Egypt  Representative who will transfer you to your 5 Star deluxe MS Mayfair Nile cruise by a private air-conditioned vehicle.

  • Upon arrival at the Cruise, your Representative will assist you with a smooth check and time to enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out with your Expert English speaking Tour Guide for your first tour on the East Bank of Luxor to Karnak and LuxorTemples.

  • Karnak Temple, a fascinating Temple and the largest place of worship ever built.

  •  Its ancient name Ipet-isut means ‘The Most Sacred of Places’.

  • The Temple or more correctly, the complex of Temples, was built over more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of Pharaohs. Within the complex, the great ‘Hypostyle Hall’ is an incredible forest of giant pillars.

  • (Lunch included in a quality restaurant).

  • Next on to nearby Luxor Temple (the two Temples were once linked by the ‘Avenue of Sphinx’ which is currently being reconstructed).

  • Then continue the tour to visit the majestic Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun.

  •  After the tour, you will taken to your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay in Luxor.

  • Breakfast on Board.  before departing with your Tour Guide to visit West Bank to the Valley of the Kings and Queens and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari). Starting with TheValley of the Kings (the original resting place of the world famous boy King Tutankhamun), and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (the only Female Pharaoh) at El Deir EL Bahari and the two towering statues of the Colossi of Memnon.(The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit).


  • Please Note: There is an additional Charge to enter the Tombs of King Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. After the tours you will return to your Nile Cruise lunch and sailing to Esna through the Lock with afternoon tea on board and evening cocktail reception and dinner. Overnight in Esna

  • Wednesday: Edfu and KomOmbo Temples

  • Breakfast on board. whilst getting ready for an early 8:00am visit with your Tour Guide toEdfu Temple. A Kalesh ride ( horse and carriage) will take you for an exploration of the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. 

  • Sailing to KomOmbo with Lunch and  afternoon tea, Later, on arrival at KomOmbo, you will be taken with your Guide to see KomOmbo Temple which is shared by two Gods Sobek and Haeroris in KomOmbo ( the only Temple shared by two Gods in Egypt ). Sailing on to Aswanunder the large structure of Aswan Bridge considered the ‘Gateway to Nubia’. Before arriving in Aswan, there will be dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan.

  • Early breakfast on board then an 8:00am visit the with your Tour Guide to the Aswan High Dam which was built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for the country.

  • Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has ever known.

  • Then we go to see the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lay in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn.

  • Cross by boat to Angilika Island, to see the Temple of Isis at Philae which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built.

  •  Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Friday: Aswan Nile Cruise

  • After breakfast, you will disembark and check out of your Nile Cruise be treated to a delightful morning sailing around the Cataract Islands in a traditional ‘Felucca’ boat witnessing the beauty of these unique islands, bird life and streams swirling over the rocks with an abundance of plants.

  •  You will get to see the Mausoleum of the Aga Khan which sits high on a hill and once a year, his widow places a single red rose outside in memory of her beloved Husband. 

  • After you tranquil sail, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport / train station for your departure.

  • 4 DAYS - ASWAN / LUXOR EVERY FRIDAY

  • Friday: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

  • You will be met and assisted on arrival at Aswan Airport and be transferred to your MS Mayfair Nile cruise for Embarkation.

  • Early breakfast on board from 7:00am while sailing to KomOmbo. Morning to relax on board and take in the breathtaking views of the Nile and it’s culture unchanged for centuries. At around 12:30pm, you will be escorted by your Tour Guide to visit KomOmbo Templestanding on high grounds overlooking the Nile.

  • It differs from other Temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to a divinity: ‘Haroeris’ with his falcon head and ‘ Sobek ‘ with it’s crocodile head. The Temple of KomOmbo was built in honor of these two deities, Sobek being known as the God of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus.

  •  

  • Back on board for Lunch. Then around 4.00pm in the afternoon, enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck while sailing to Edfu.
